Barry Bonetti first opened the doors of Combined Appliances in 1955 at its original location, 1590 Marine Drive.
In 1970 and 1979, Barry hired two appliance repairmen, Bob Stuart and Dennis Vreeken. Bob and Dennis worked at Combined Appliances until 1989, when they purchased the business.
Upon acquiring the company, Bob and Dennis divided it into two locations: the Parts and Service Department moved to Garden Avenue, while the Sales Department remained at 1590 Marine Drive.
As the business expanded, so did the need for a larger facility. In 1995, both departments were merged into one large store located at 1400 Marine Drive.
Combined Appliances continued to grow in both service and sales; however, in 2003, the doors at 1400 Marine Drive were closed, and the business relocated to #106 - 1861 Welch Street, focusing exclusively on in-home service.
In 2021, Kyle Vreeken and Colten Platzner took ownership of Combined Appliances and are excited to lead a team of experienced staff and service technicians that are better than ever!
